Nutritional Coaching

Aches, Pains? Arthritis, High Cholesterol, Diabetes, Other Health Concerns? Eating well, but unable to lose the weight you want? Unable to gain weight? Lack of energy? Feeling Depressed? Brain Fog? ETC. ETC.

Deficiencies, excesses and imbalances in diet can produce negative impacts on health. This may lead to diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, scurvy, obesity or osteoporosis. This can also lead to psychological and behavioral problems.

An inadequate diet can lead to malnutrition. There are many ways to have an inadequate diet, such as:

  • Not eating enough
  • Eating a lot of food
  • Eating calorie-rich, nutrient-poor diets
  • Eating food that is low in nutrients, such as
  • Some ‘fast foods’
  • Certain processed foods
  • A variety of package foods
  • Foods picked too early
  • Foods stored too long
  • Foods grown in soil with little or no nutrient value

In fact, it is possible to be obese and malnourished.

Our emotional ups and downs also affect our ability to heal or make healthy decisions.

Take hope, many common diseases and their symptoms can often be prevented or alleviated with better nutrition. This is where a nutritional coach can be very helpful.

What is a nutritional coach?

A Nutritional Coach is a spirited combination of…

  • Life Strategist
  • Knowledgeable Resource guide
  • Success Partner
  • Supporter
  • Motivator & Source of Inspiration
  • Objective listener
  • Brainstorm & idea person
  • Nutritionist

What does a Nutritional Coach Do?

Simply put, having a nutrition coach is about helping you

  • Assess your eating habits and lifestyle
  • Establish realistic goals
  • Formulate a personal plan of action
  • Move into action
  • Remain focused on your goals
  • To do more than you would do on your own
  • Keeping it simple

As a coach, I am interested in one thing: your success.

We will take the time to understand the roots of the causes and conditions that are affecting your health. Then together, through a process of conversations and learning activities, we will create your personal, achievable, realistic plan that will make your intentions a reality. Choices that will fit your lifestyle.

The more chronic the condition, the longer the journey

When it comes to nutrition and lifestyle support “one size does not fit all”.

These will be some of the things that will be taken into consideration

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Geography
  • Lifestyle Habits including
  • Stress
  • Work
  • Sleep
  • Physical Activity
  • Dietary Habits including
  • Likes
  • Dislikes
  • Allergies
  • Food Sensitivities
  • Current Health Conditions
  • Drug – Nutrient – Herb Interactions
